Renting a Car
Those of

of the island rental companies actually permit cars to be
taken on the Turkish side of the island. The insurance you pay
($35.00 Euros) at the border is virtually useless. If you are
staying for a while ad given the reduced car rates on the
Turkish side, it may be smarter to take a
car service to Lefke and then
rent a car locally.

Many people start
their statements off with Sheikh said, or Sheikh wants. Anyone
understanding Islam, and those with a cursory understanding of
the science of hadith, will know that claims about Sheikh (or
the Prophet) having said this or that are only as reliable as
the one transmitting it. If the honesty or integrity of
someone is at all questionable, the transmission is considered
to be false. If not indicating who heard Sheikh say something,
ignore it completely. Some of the biggest lies in the Darga
and on the Internet start with, Sheikh said . . . . It
does not necessarily mean they are all lies, it just means you
cannot rely upon them as fact.
In this age of video transmission, I would encourage people to
ignore things reported as what Sheikh said unless you see the
video or statements yourself or have complete faith in the one
transmitting the information. Allah, his Messenger and
Authorized Representatives know best.
Now some people are claiming Sheikh said no more money should
be raised in his name. Anyone raising money for associated
Naqhshbandi/Rabanni charity work is automatically doing it in
Sheikh Nazim's name, Prophet Muhammad's name, and Allah's
name. That responsibility is on their heads and they will
answer for any wrong-doing committed or misuse of funds.
Maulana Sheikh Nazim Al-Haqqani's recent order in a sohbet,

where he describes to set some money aside to start a bank fund, Baitul Mal
There are many con-artists collecting money on behalf of
Sheikh Nazim, this is certain. We have been conned ourselves.
This is why you should attempt to ascertain the character of
the person who is saying, "they are doing God's work", before
you give. If not certain, give the money to Sheikh Nazim and
tell him if he supports the persons work, please provide it to
them. Do not rely on others to give it to him, give it
directly to him. Those who sincerely give and become cheated
are still rewarded, however continuing to give to crooks to
garner favor or status is wrong. We should think carefully
before doing anything. Giving money to garner position, status
or favor is corruption.

be the son of the former president. Please inform others that
pages like Adnan Kabbani are fraudulent. Please further
consider that such high ranking individuals would not be
engaged in creating their own pages and that Facebook is a
dangerous intelligence gathering database that provides
Shaitons with information about you and the opportunity to
create such fitna. With Imam Mahdi's appearance the appearance
of the Dajjal may be weeks or months away. Please consider closing
your Facebook accounts and returning to a simple life. We also
believe it is time to leave your cell phones at home, as they
are tracking and listening devices. Everyone is free to decide

provided us with a really nice adobe house located between the
Ladies Guest House and Abdul Hadi's Guest House. We are not
offering rooms as a guest house, but we do have an extra room.

unavailable in Syria, and the growing tensions, we decided it
was time to move back to Cyprus.

Sheikh Ahmed Kayyal has reviewed the Saddiqi Rose website.
We will be changing some of the focus away from Jabal Quassum,
towards helping people to purchase houses in the Shaghur area
in the old city. While things are a bit crazy in Syria right
now, they will, insha'Allah, be changing very soon. Preparing
the way now for what will soon be the place to come, seems
wise and in line with Sheikh Nazim's orders. Sheikh Ahmed is
in the process of finalizing a Darga, and we should have more
information available soon, insha'a Allah. Please make du'a
for Sheikh Ahmed's efforts. If you would like to participate
in the blessings of opening this important effort in Sham
Shareef, you can

Thikr in the Maqam of Sheikh Rislan & CD
 Saturday,
August 6th Sheikh Ahmed Kayyal called us together for the
first official thikr in the Maqam of Sheikh Rislan. It seems
that Saturday at 2:30 PM will be the standard time for the
weekly thikr. The
 entire
thikr can be downloaded below, and contains some amazing
nasheed. We have produced a CD (seen below) and will make many
copies that we will hand out free. The back of the CD contains
details about the thikr.
 There
were many new faces in attendance, as well as many familiar
faces. If you are local, most cab drivers will know exactly
where to take you when you say Shaikh Rislan in Babtouma.

Visiting the Maqam of Sheikh Rislan
 Monday,
August 1st we were blessed to visit the Maqam of Sheikh Rislan
in the company of Sheikh Ahmed Kayyal. Sheikh Ahmed was
ordered by Sheikh Nazim to visit this Maqam soon after he
returned to Sham Shareef from Cyprus. The spiritual energy in
the Maqam was very strong. Afterwards we went to Sheikh
Muhiadeen Ibn Al-Arabi, which is still under renovations. The
Maqam was closed so we made du'a outside. The main Mosque is
open for taraweeh prayers.
The Sultan of Sham Shareef
Allahu Akbar, Allahu Akbar, Allahu Akbar, Sheikh Nazim has
delivered the good news about the
Proclamation from the Saints of Sham
Shareef, and the long
awaited,
and very much anticipated appointment of the Sultan of Sham
Shareef, Sheikh Mehmet Al-Haqqani. Sheikh Mehmet's deputy in
Sham, Sheikh Ahmed Kayyal, has also been given authority
through Mawlana to act on his behalf in opening Sham Shareef.
This is what we have all been waiting for, and now the
importance of Sham Shareef will, insha'a Allah, become clear
to all who believe.

In it Sheikh Nazim says he can now relax! We have once again
turned these important sohbets into a DVD, and will seek to
distribute as many free copies in Sham Shareef as possible.
The donations we receive now will all go directly to Sheikh
Ahmed Kayyal to support his important work, or to Sheikh
Mehmet when he comes to Damascus in the near future.
Everything is now clear, and everything is now open. We are
most fortunate to be living in these blessed times.

For those thinking, who is this person
 who
suddenly popped onto the scene, Sheikh Ahmed has actually been
quietly sitting with Sheikh Adnan, one-on-one and in small
gatherings for the past ten or more years, absorbing the
Naqshbandi teachings. Many years ago Sheikh Ahmed was given
permission by Sheikh Adnan to lead the Naqshbandi thikr.
Sheikh Adnan was recently revealed by
 Maulana
Sheikh Nazim to be among the top five Awliya (Saints) of our
day, and the top person giving permission to enter seclusion.
Sheikh Mehmet, the Sultan of Sham Shareef, has this permission
as well. At that time Sheikh
Ahmed did not lead the thikrs in the Maqam of Grand Sheikh,
but rather had small gatherings at rotating locations in Sham
Shareef, often at people's homes. Few people attended these
gatherings, with Sheikh Ibrahim from England, our beloved son
Sheikh Yusef, and a few local brothers in consistent
attendance in these blessed gatherings. Allah bless Sheikh
Ahmed and give him all the tools and support necessary to
complete his important mission in Sham Shareef.
Food Giveaway - in
Damascus
 With
the generous support from many persons who have
donated to the
Saddiqi Rose Projects we purchased 100 bags of food
(filling two small trucks). Sheikh Ibrahim distributed them
after the 15th of Shaban night program - following the
presentation of the holy hair of Saydinah Muhammad (saw) in
the Maqam of Grand Sheikh. Each bag contained dates, pasta,
rice, burgle, canned meat, cooking oil, and vegetable ghea.

DVD Giveaway
 We
downloaded the recent Introduction to Sohbets, and the
City of Knowledge videos in Arabic from
Saltanat.org, and then
formatted both sohbets onto one DVD. These are amazingly
important videos that the entire world should be watching. You
might have noticed as we did that the sohbets on
Saltanat.org are not getting
very much views. Perhaps an average of 200 to 300 views per
file, after perhaps several hundred more views on the live
feed. This is not because of any lack of effort on the part of
Saltanat.org,
who are doing an amazing job, it is a reflection of the
availability of broad-band, and the reality that many people
are still not Internet savvy. A hard DVD copy is tangible,
easily viewed, can be shared by many, and possibly has a pass
along rate that may result in each DVD produced to have
dozens, and perhaps hundreds of views. People who would never
be motivated to go visit
Saltanat.org
when given the URL, would be almost certain to watch the DVD
if handed a copy.
That is exactly what we have done, and the results are
amazing. Thus far we have produced, and handed out 200 free
copies of the above DVD in blessed Sham Shareef.
